The Houston Cole Library is closed on holidays recognized by Jacksonville State University. These are noted in the current semester schedule tab and the Holidays and Breaks tab.
Our normal operating hours are as follows:
| Monday-Thursday: | 7:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. |
| Friday: | 7:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. |
| Saturday: | 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. |

3:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M |
NOTE: University holidays and amended schedules will be posted on this guide, on our doors, and at the circulation desk prior to those dates.

The Library Computer Lab, located on the 10th floor, is restricted to currently enrolled students or employees of the University. The computer lab closes 15 minutes before the Library closes.
The Alabama Gallery, home of the Library's special collections, is located on the 10th floor. The Gallery is open by appointment only, Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Please use this form to schedule an appointment.
The Reference Desk is located in the Lobby next to the Circulation Desk.
