Statistics for Your Thesis/Dissertation

Can I see if/how my work is reaching people?

Absolutely. One of the great things about housing your thesis/dissertation/project in JSU Digital Commons is the statistics that it will allow you to view. JSU Digital Commons enhances the visibility of your work; your work is easily located through Google and other common search tools. Once your submission has gone live, you'll have access to detailed information, including:

  • Your readership numbers, for whatever time period you specify
  • The geographical distribution of your readership, complete with maps
  • The type of institutions that are accessing your scholarship (educational, governmental, commercial, etc)
  • All of these individual reports can be downloaded or shared, or you can share a snapshot of your entire Dashboard by sending a guest link

To access these statistics, use the Author Dashboard feature found under My Account. Please note that the Dashboard may take a moment to load, since it's pulling global readership information.
