Selects, acquires, and manages the Library's special collections and digital collections. Administers the JSU Digital Commons institutional repository. Performs cataloging, preservation, and other Technical Services duties. Co-web administrator for the Library's web site.
Bethany Latham holds a B.A. in History from JSU, graduating magna cum laude with special honors in history in 2001. She received her Master of Library and Information Studies from The University of Alabama in 2003. She is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta International History Honor Society, and the Beta Phi Mu Library and Information Studies Honor Society.
She is currently an Associate Editor for the Journal of Academic Librarianship, and she serves as Managing Editor of The Historical Novels Review. She reviews for The Historical Novels Review and Booklist. She is also a regular contributor to the EBSCO NoveList database. Her publications include reviews, peer-reviewed articles in a variety of journals, and three books: Elizabeth I in Film and Television, Academic Libraries in the US and China, and Finding and Using US Government Information: A Practical Guide for Librarians.
