Library Standing Committees: Home

This committee updates the Library’s Disaster Preparedness Plan as needed.

This committee reviews the coordination and promotion of the Library’s instructional activities and makes recommendations as needed.

This committee reviews and updates the current policies as needed, as well as develops new policy when requested.

This committee is responsible for providing Library news items and press releases to the JSU Public Relations team for inclusion on the JSU’s News Wire, Facebook profile, and other news/PR outlets. In addition, the Committee is responsible for using the news items and press releases to create and publish the Library’s Annual Report.

This committee develops, through annual surveys/evaluations, a thorough understanding of faculty, staff, and student needs and expectations pertaining to library services, collections, and resources and determine if any of these areas need to be addressed to meet new trends, needs, or expectations, as well as to analyze the Library facilities and make suggestions for improvements to address the JSU community needs and expectations.
