LibGuides: An Introduction and How-To Guide: Getting Started

An introduction to the LibGuides tool with How-To guides and instructions for library faculty on setting up their own LibGuides.

Why reinvent the wheel?

We aren't the only library using LibGuides, and you can get some great ideas from guides other universities have already created. Here are a few of the other academic libraries in the state utilizing this instructional / research tool:  

LibGuides Community

Visit the LibGuides Community Site to explore over 200,000 guides from almost 3,000 institutions. Get ideas for your own guides and use community guides as templates when creating your own content — just be sure to obtain the author's permission.

Basic steps to create a guide

•  Logging in 
Your login ID is your JSU email address; your password is the part of your JSU address before the @
