Introduction to State and Local Government / Political Science 102: Search Engines - searching across numerous databases

The search engines listed below are designed to search numerous databases with one search.  They search only those databases we subscribe to and mostly within their own company databases.  These are: 

• Discovery - Mostly Ebscohost databases but it does include other non-Ebscohost databases.
• Proquest Central - Only Proquest databases.
• General OneFile - Only the Gale / Cengage databases.

Use the "Advanced Search" option for easier searching.  If you are unsure how to search using either Discovery or Proquest  you should view the videos that explain how to use them.
