About this Guide

A large number of publishers and database providers have made a large number of resources temporarily available at no cost to support classes that have moved online in response to COVID-19. These are in addition to our other electronic resources. We have created this guide to provide JSU students, faculty, and staff easier access to these resources.

These lists include resources that publishers have made freely available in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and are about COVID-19 related research or coronavirus. Also, included are resources database providers have offered through trials in order for us to support our classes all going online. Trials are restricted to JSU students, faculty, and staff, so you will be prompted to login through MyJSU to access these resources..

As publishers and database providers add more freely available resources, this guide will be updated. Please check back often. If you cannot find what you need here or if you have any questions, please use the Need Help box on this page to contact us.

Visit our Continuity of Service guide at for announcements and additional information about Library services during the COVID-19 closure.

Adapted and Permission

This guide was created using Binghamton University Libraries's "Additional Resources Available during COVID-19" guide and Cedar Crest College's "Resources for COVID-19 and resources without paywalls during the coronavirus pandemic" guide as a basis. Thanks to these institutions for allowing us to re-create this guide using some on the same resources and/or design options.
