When accessing the electronic resources off-campus, links to restricted materials on the library website will prompt you for your username and password. This username and password are the same as your MyJSU account.
If you experience difficulty accessing materials remotely, please check the following possible causes:
- Check if you can sign into your MyJSU account at https://my.jsu.edu/
- Be sure that you are registered or pre-registered. Registered students may access the electronic databases during the semester or session that their classes meet. Pre-registering will not grant you early access to the databases
- School or office computers are often connected to a larger network of computers through a server. These computers may have a firewall established. You need to contact your computer services personnel to determine if this is the problem
- Cookies and pop-ups are required by EZproxy.
